SOCCER ADVANCES TO PLAYOFFS!!!!!

The soccer team had a huge game Tuesday.  The scenario was simple.  Win and they make playoffs or lose and go home.  Going home wasn't an option for these kids as they pitched a shutout against Portland Adventist Academy and scored on goals by Luke Lozano and Lucas Wright for the 2-0 win.  Now we are in waiting to get playoff info...once we have that we will post it here on the blog!

Tuesday was also senior night.  Chris Cotuna is the lone senior on the team this year.  Chris Cotuna embodies everything that Faith is all about and it was good to honor him and his family following the game.

Below are some photos from the game Tuesday...to see more check out the photo section on the right side of the page!

SOCCER TEAM BEATS WESTSIDE 2-1

Outlined against a blue gray October sky the Falcons soared past the Eagles winning 2-1 off the goals of Branden Luey & Cameron Hofer.  This game was a complete team effort and the boys stepped up big to get their first ever win against Westside Christian.  This win puts Faith in a position to possibly make playoffs!  Great game boys!

XC & VOLLEYBALL SEASONS COME TO AN END

Around 4:20pm Micah Johnson crossed the finish line and it would be the last race ran by this senior or any other member of the XC team this year.  Today was districts and each of our runners finished the season with a PR!  Below are the results of the race:

Fikeraddis Cochran ran a PR of over 30 seconds finishing with a time of 25:49
Ari Daskalakis ran a PR of exactly a minute with a time of 21:48
Micah Johnson ran a PR of about 45 seconds and finished with a time of 20:58

We are so proud of all of you!!!!

The volleyball team traveled to Knappa for the 2nd round of the NWL playoffs.  They squared off against Neah-Kah-Nie and fought hard forcing a 5th match, but couldn't pull off a victory.  This team has grown so much this year and really came together to play well as the season progressed.  Great job girls, it was a good year!!!!
