RIVERDALE HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT

Over Christmas break both the boys and girls varsity basketball teams participated in the Riverdale Holiday Tournament.  The girls teams beat Westside Christian & Riverdale to take 3rd place in the tournament and the boys team beat Damascus Christian & Cedar Park to take 4th place in the tournament.

THE 2013-14 BASKETBALL SEASON HAS TIPPED OFF

Both the boys and girls played their 1st basketball games of the year on Thursday.  The girls lost a thriller in overtime 27-24 and the boys traveled to North Clackamas Christian to take on the Saints.  The boys won 52-39.  Below are some highlights from the boys game.

OCTOBER ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

GARRETT BENDER - SR - Cross Country
-received 2nd team all NWL honors
-set new school record of 17:46 for a 5K
-extremely hard worker always striving to be the best

MAILE KAM - SO - VOLLEYBALL
-received 1st team all NWL honors
-97.3% serving avg
-over 240 kills on the season
-never stopped improving throughout the season
