FALCONS SWEEP BOBCATS

In the last of a three game set the Falcons took on the Nestucca Bobcats on the Oregon coast in Cloverdale.  Faith was down to only nine players at the start of the game, but that was ok because each player showed up ready to play.  Branden Luey started on the mound for the Falcons and left the game in the 4th with the scored tied 4-4.  Nate Elder picked up the rest of the innings and the win not allowing a run or a hit for the remainder of the game.  Faith went on to win the game 8-4 and to sweep the series from the Bobcats.

Faith has now won 8 of its last 11 games and will play Gaston this week in the final week of the regular season.
