Jordan Wagner places 4th at State in the Shot

Jordan Wagner a senior at Faith is in his 4th year doing track and field.  He came into track as a runner until he was injured halfway through this sophomore season.  Jordan didn't want to just sit around and watch everyone else participate so he started to throw.  At the end of his sophomore we were at the state track meet just watching and he informed me that next year when he came to state it wouldn't be to watch but to be throwing in the shot.  At the time he was several feet away from even making it to state.

Jordan's JR year he worked very hard and elevated himself to 2nd in our district making it to state in the shot and placing 7th with a throw of 42'10".

This year Jordan's senior year he was a dual sport athlete doing both baseball and track.  He worked very hard on his form and set a new school record in the shot throwing a distance of 45'9".  This year at state he placed 4th.  What a great accomplishment!!!!!!!
