LUEY AND BEST MAKE ALL-STATE

Both Branden Luey & Jason Best have been named to the 2015 Oregon 2A all-state team.  Branden and Jason become the 2nd and 3rd players to be named all-state since the programs inception just four years ago in 2012.  The other player to make all-state for Faith was Nate Elder who received 1st team honors in 2012.

Branden Luey named 3rd team all-state was a team captain, 1st-Team all-league, KUIK AM athlete of the week.  Luey played catcher for the Falcons and batted either 3rd or 4th most of the year.  Branden broke two school records this year, both batting average and on base percentage.

Jason Best was named honorable mention all-state and was a team captain, 1st Team all-league, Faith athlete of the month.  Best played short stop for the Falcons and batted leadoff.  Jason broke seven school records this year including hits, doubles, triples, runs and stolen bases.
