Faith looked flat out of the gate and surrendered the opening goal in just
the 12th minute. Jacob was able to even the score in the 24th minute off
a throw in from Eamon, which bounced around in the box before he tapped
it home. Faith played with a little more inspiration after leveling he
match, but Life answered with 2 more 1st half goals. Life went up 5-1 in
the second half off of an own goal on a corner kick and a nice shot
from Life's #12. Eamon and Caleb stepped up the pressure, attacking
Life's center backs, forcing 2 one v one situations with Life's keeper.
Caleb took advantage of the second and knocked home his 2nd goal of the
season. Faith takes on Portland Adventist Academy on Tuesday at the
Fairgrounds at 4 PM.
