Saturday, October 24th the Faith Falcons volleyball team traveled to
Vernonia, the site of the NWL Championship game to play the Delphian
Dragons. Faith was riding a 9 game winning streak and was hoping to
make it an even 10 vs Delphian. The Falcons got off to a shaky start
losing the 1st game 15-25, the Falcons evened the score at 1-1 beating
the Dragons in the 2nd set 25-17. The third set was lost on a close on
22-15. The Falcons had their backs against the wall trailing two games
to one. Delphian came out hitting on all cylinders taking a controlling
lead 22-17. The Falcons never gave up though and fought their way back
to an eventual 27-25 win. Now it was tied at 2-2 and there would be
one game to 15 to determine who the league champion would be. Faith
came out on fire in the last set beating Delphian 15-6. With the
victory Faith won the NWL Championship, earned a home state playoff game, extended their win streak to 10 games and are now 20-6 on the season. Faith's next game will be
