After taking the lead in every match the Lady Falcons struggled at times to close the win on every game but in the 5th game the endurance training and last weekend bonding became apparent when we wore down our also young opponents of Nestucca to take the Win. The Falcons served the match with their highest serving percentage as a team at 91%.  They also passed more consistently which clearly helped win the match when others struggled. The Falcons were led by middle blocker, Alleggra Poetter who had 13 kills followed by teammates Keeley Price and Kaitlin Hergert who both contributed 4 more. Price served 100% from the line while Poetter had 7 aces and Abi Gillenwater had 5 from the serving line. Jahzel Sanchez leading the team in passes and digs was joined by Poetter and Anna Wagnon who all passed over 2.0 for the team on a 3.0 scale. The Falcons are back in action next Tuesday on the road again to Neah-kah-nie @ 5:30 and 6:30pm.
