XC OPENS SEASON IN VERNONIA

The Falcons XC team traveled to Vernonia to participate in the NWL Jamboree.  The Falcons didn't waste anytime putting up pretty good times and getting the season started right.  Faith had eight runners in the race (4 boys and 4 girls).

The boys were lead by senior Graeson Roll who put up a 20:50 time and was followed by Sophomore Tanner Shroyer who burst on the scene as an immediate contributor in his first ever XC race.  Seniors Connor Hood and Adrian Kudlich rounded at the boys finishers.

On the girls side of things Sophomore Tessa Vanderkamp took 3rd place and set a new PR in her first race of the season with a time of 22:48.  The three other runners for Faith on the girls side were running in their first ever XC race and they ran as a pack until the very end finishing strong together was Claire Storto, Ainsley Roll and Aasha Prasad.
